Dawn Faber is a certified Interior Designer who has taken numerous paths to express her creativity.  She started seriously pursuing her passion for painting by working in oils, dabbled in collage, and has fallen in love with abstract acrylics.  She has received awards for her work in both Michigan and South Carolina.  Her work is represented in private and corporate collections in the States and Internationally.  Dawn’s work can be found currently at The Village Artists Gallery in Columbia, South Carolina.

“I have always been creative.  I received my first art award at the age of seventeen for a pen and ink still life. I concentrated my creativity in the Interior Design field for many years. It wasn’t until both of my children were older that I pursued painting.  I love putting paint on walls, fabric on windows, and oil and acrylics on canvas.  I enjoy finding the unexpected in my paintings as they develop.   Creating in any form brings me joy.”
